THE MOUNTAIN PHILOSOPHY:
Everest is a revolution in choice and built on MOUNTAIN’s user-centric design philosophy: Innovation, Performance, Aesthetics and Modularity. Featuring patent-pending designs, Everest was created from the ground up to enable peak performance.
MEDIA DOCK WITH DISPLAY DIAL
A whole mountain range of controls and information on top of your keyboard. Also, the first of its kind to feature a display! Apart from easily accessible media controls, the display will enable you to monitor your system, display or switch profiles.
NUMPAD OR NOT-PAD?
If your daily routines include punching in numbers every so often, or you have an elaborate script and hotkey setup, the Numpad is for you. It was designed to fit snugly and securely to Everest and look great while serving alongside its bigger brother, either on the right or the left side of your keyboard.
CUSTOMIZABLE DISPLAY KEYS
To maximize your efficiency, modify the 4 display keys on your numpad to your heart’s desire. Choose your favorite shortcuts, macros or hotkeys and pick an image to make them your own.
SWITCH IT UP
We selected the gold standard of mechanical switches. Prefer something different? The modular approach makes it easy for you to replace the stock switches with any other compatible hot-swap variant, no soldering required.
EXTRA SMOOTH
Sound is a crucial aspect of every mechanical keyboard, and Everest goes the extra mile to achieve superiority. Featuring genuine Cherry stabilizers with tight tolerances, factory-tuned with Krytox GPL 205 Grade 0. Everest's stabilizers do away with rattle and noise, placing them in a league of their own.

Another almost perfect keyboard

After using this keyboard quiet a while, Iwould definitely say I love it. Firstly, it was worth the wait, everyday i kept looking out my door for fedex to deliver my package and when that day came, I was such a happy man, it felt like christmas. Secondly, this was my first ever mechanical video, and I am happy this was. The packaging came in beautifully and breaking it down was incredibly fun. After that, I began falling into the custom keyboard community and this keyboard is incredibly fun to customize and modify. However, the Base Camp software doesnt sometimes work and would not load my prefixes. Also there isnt that much customizing with RGB on the keyboard. That does not really bother me tho as I wasnt really invested in the colors and pictures, but to someone else it might. Overall, the build quality is amazing, its a great soild keyboard, I would not really buy the keyboard itself since I do not believe it really is worth it, but with the added keypad and dial I would say it definitely is. Also the arm rest isn't really much, I have my own arm rest, but it is a nice add on. If someone has the money for this and really wants it, i'd say its definitely worth it. For some people, it depends, but to me it is almost a perfect mechanical keyboard. Thank you Mount Everest for giving this awesome experience with just a keyboard.

I don’t have to spend thousands finding a good keyboard!

I have been looking for a really good keyboard for a really long time spending much more than I needed to, but then I got this keyboard. This is the end of my searching adventure. It’s worth the high cost and long wait, trust me.

Hello everyone! I will be giving a review/ first impressions of the mountain Everest max keyboard.

Ordering:
To begin, ordering was simple, and it came in a relatively short time considering it was coming from the Netherlands to the US. Tracking was a bit confusing, since when it said shipped, I was informed by the team at Mountain that it was still in their possession at their warehouse several days after the shipped notification from FedEx. The total time to get to me was 9 days after I ordered. A lot better than what some people have experienced, but that is probably relative to your location.

Cost:
The cost is okay, at the time of my purchase, it was $269.99. The keyboard feels so good. Key caps are pretty standard and nothing special, unless you order from the other options they have for an increased charge. The build quality is very nice, but the software could use some improvement.
The stream deck and media dock are really cool looking, but are near impossible to see when not looking directly over them.

Software:
I’m not tech savvy to say the least, but I can figure my way around SOME software available for other products I have from Corsair, cooler master, and razer. This software is not easy for the average guy to navigate for customizing the stream deck keys and media doc screen. There is not much information out there specifically how to achieve this, and I had to have my cousin who is a god with computers help navigate me through. And even that took a while. The lighting software is BUGGY. Now that might just be with my computer, but if I try to change colors, it will work the first couple times, but after an average 3 times of selecting a specific color, my keyboard will in a way lag out, and not let me change the colors at all in that setting. This also causes the the stream deck keys to also “lag” out and not perform their task whatsoever, until I restart my entire PC and sometimes it’ll work if I just unplug and re install the keyboard. Trying to get the stream deck to perform other tasks that aren’t the stock ones is tricky. For me, even using the enter url setting and typing in www.YouTube.com in several different ways still does not take me to the site properly. (Even after using the url directly connected to my account.) the story is the same for applications from your desktop. It will take some maneuvering and tricks to get it right. Please send advice for something that worked for you if you have anything.

Overall:
I would’ve been happier to pay under 200 for this keyboard because it’s nice, but no where near perfect, which a keyboard with such a premium price should be in my opinion. But, as just stated, this is my opinion. I’m excited to see what mountain brings to the table in the future with upgrades to the software to make it more user friendly and less glitchy. I also know that it could just be my setup ( Lenovo legion Y-540, I can post specs specific to my computer if anyone cares). But I keep my pc updated, the software for the keyboard and ex. Updated, so I’m not sure how it would just be my computer. Please post questions and I’ll try to answer to my best ability. This is a really nice product that can use some software work. I would recommend. And thank you to the mountain team for making my experience over all a good one!

Fantastic Keyboard. Awful software

I really like this keyboard. It's very well designed all around especially when it comes to customization. You're given everything you need to change out keys and switches if want/need to, and the modular numpad and media dock is what ultimately sold me, everything else is a bonus. Even the unboxing experience was a delight. Everything about the physical keyboard is superb, I don't think very many people could deny that.

My only gripe is the Base Camp software hardly works. Load times are slow if it even loads at all so setting up lighting and configuring the lovely little LCD buttons on the numpad has been a pain, but like I said that's my only complaint. It'll take awhile to get your hands on it but once you do this keyboard is great and you'll be glad you waited.

Thank you for your review and feedback on the software. We are constantly working on updating and improving the software and actually have a number of new features coming up in the next release :-)
